Zaman Dance Theatre Collective merges students, emerging and professional artists together, to develop performance works that explore sociopolitical themes and injustice. Performers have included actors, dancers, vocalists and performance poets from New Jersey and the New York City metropolitan area. Collectively, participating artists have brought a diversity of educational backgrounds and artistic skills to the collective and are committed to using their artistic practices to bring awareness through education and performance.
